Senior VFX artist at Yellow Brick Games! ✨
Passionate about Game Dev! (Obviously!!!)
Fan of 3D printing!

Currently trying to create free tutorials about Ue5's Niagara! (Hopefully I'll enjoy it and continue!)
Hahaha, excessivity runs into every Vfx artist’s veins, we can’t avoid it. 😂

If their scale are small and if there’s not a lot of overdraw between them, I’m fairly sure it’s actually relatively cheap! :) (I mention “Fairly” because I never profiled a system with and without for comparison. I’m sure it can be used in gameplay as well if mindful! ^^ )

First tutorial video OUT!

An Introduction to the concept of Niagara, it's particles and it's systems! 🤩

I hope you'll enjoy it! ✨

(I still struggle at making video on Youtube, so I'm currently only doing those in French, my primary language. At some point I might try to do it in English too!)

Super clean, nice work! 😁
Have you tried adding a light on both of them? Not necessary, but I suspect it could improve the connection between the Vfx and the world. :)

I'VE DONE IT!!!

If you would like to see me cover a specific topic, let me know! 😁✨

And here's the idea of the Shader:

2 depth ramps: 1 forward and 1 backward.
The "location" of the ramp gets offsetted and both sides can be edited separatly. (Gonna need to fix that emissive issue eventually. x) )
