Spotted a Tufted Titmouse in Central Park this morning just before takeoff. Turns out they spread their tail feathers just as they're about to leap! We seem to get loads of Titmice here every other year: 2020, 2022 and 2024. #Titmouse #CentralPark #birding

Spotted a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker in Central Park this morning. If you look closely, you can see the neat rows of sapwells it has drilled. It feeds on the sugary sap and any insects that get caught in them. 🍸🍸🍸 #Sapsucker #CentralPark #birding #photography

sometimes i'm watching a game and the feed is annoyingly 10 or 15 seconds behind and i'll get an alert on my phone that the other team scored and then i have to sit there and wait for it to happen on screen like a helpless time traveler as the awful future they're from comes to pass
