This week, my 13 year old daughter was arrested, handcuffed, put in the back of the car and transported to a sub station.
Why? Well, according to the police it’s because she refused to talk to them.
Repeatedly, I’ve told my kids DO NOT TALK TO THE POLICE. EVER.

When (or if) the U.S. ever comes out of the era of Trumpism, we clearly need to codify much of what we’ve considered “norms”, completely overhaul campaign finance laws, and end Citizen’s United.
