The earth is careening through space and oblivion at 67,100mph, spinning at about 1000mph.
It's absolutely terrifying.
We all need a tether, a foundation to hold onto.
What do you live with so it takes away the fear?
I take objection to the "sometimes bordering on performance art" line, she's one of America's preeminent performance artists. Andy Kaufman *wishes* he could have been as bold and transgressive, her commitment to the bit is unmatched.

It's a cruel twist of fate that gets repeated time and time again, I think it just might be a defect in human civilization. I'm not saying that the DNC (and by extension, Ari Aster) would've crucified Christ, but I do think they would've thought Christ and the Roman's were equally bad.

Eddington suffers from 'both sides are extreme,' portraying Gen Z as assholes, who are incidentally proven right when Joe does everything they're talking about. I'm not even sure Aster is aware he's crafted the story that way holding onto 'Everyone is an crazy asshole but me, the sensible moderate.'

Congratulations, you're complicit in pushing a narrative that was crafted to alienate the body politic from Gen Z. One Battle After Another has absolutely nothing to do with this argument. The revolutionary actors are Gen X and it acknowledges that they got it wrong and passes the torch to Gen Z.

I will gladly hand Clinton over if this means actual consequences and meaningful protections against the predatory nature and practices of the elite in this country.

It really could go either way. I'm rereading Shirer's Rise and Fall and that seems to be just the M.O, either they shoot you or they hand you the gun.
