This week I’ve had:
- 2 people come into my store to do a buy/sell deal. I had to tell them not to do that because- ya know- I am a store that buys and sells Pokemon cards.
- Someone waiting out in the parking lot asking customers coming in to sell/trade cards to sell to them instead.

This week I’ve had:

Adopting another disabled cat on Wednesday
This poor baby was found on the streets- he was badly abused. He had pneumonia, and his right eye was beyond saving. Despite all of this the adoption agency said he’s extremely affectionate, and loves to play. We meet on Wednesday

About 5 rows down there were 4 college kids. One of them yelled “this is a musical? Fuck this shit let’s go” and then they all left.

My daughter isnt super into letting me touch her. A few times a day she’ll let me help her regulate or tickle her hands which she likes or carry her down the steps
But when I walk her into school, for 30 seconds she grips my hand so tight while we make our way in. It’s like she needs me. I love her

My daughter was approved for ABA therapy today. I’m so thankful. Months and months of appointments, trips, at-home visits, observations, paperwork…finally my little girl gets the assistance she deserves. Maybe she’ll become verbal some day. She kissed my hand last night. She makes my heart so full.

After spending thousands of dollars on meetings, observations, zoom calls, doctor visits, insurance claims, waitlists for a year, jumping through hoops, getting an autism diagnosis insurance will believe for my daughter has been an EXTREME battle.
Amazing that people can self diagnosis themselves.
