Thank God we've built virtual edgelords! Maybe now we'll be able to avert the prophecies, you know, all the ones that forsee the Great Edgelord Deficiency of 2029

Yeah, but then post-credits scene when the demogorgon lowers his sunglasses and says "Well THAT just happened!" and they all just laugh and laugh and laugh for like twelve minutes straight... That was worth it all.

Ugh... Is "skeet" really the term we landed on

That kind of thing was really weirdly common in the late 80s/early 90s. RoboCop and The Toxic Avenger both had Saturday morning cartoons, which is WILD.

Oh man, you can get your kids to remember to plug in their own devices?! Feel like you're already ahead of the game right there.

I've always been partial to Sam Raimi's storyboard images for Evil Dead 2, like this one depicting the finale battle

Obvs Mummy>>>RH tho

either Dodge, Defend, or Retaliate. Might be obvious, but Dodging would use their speed stat to have a chance to take no damage (but take full damage if you fail), Defending would use their defense stat to take reduced damage and negate status ailments, and Retaliating meant tanking the damage but

That tiny mechanical touch is so great -- both have some element of risk but a unique benefit. I truly love when tactics games give you that level of granularity in your decision making opportunities. There was a forgotten gem on DS called Drone Tactics that let your targeted units decide to

Oh man. Memories of late night shmup sessions... Ikaruga, Geometry Wars, Castle Shikigami 2... "Go home and regret this."

This looks incredible. Gonna go download immediately.
