Just finished my first playthrough last evening. It took me literally one year. I started playing in November 2024.

I only have so much time to game these days, and Cyberpunk 2077 just kept throwing side content at me. Lol.

Still, it was a time where, to me, it felt like - yeah, we'll be able to solve all of these problems eventually, even if we can't right now. I haven't felt that kind of hope in a long time.

For me, a lot of my 90s nostalgia reflects me remembering a time when I personally felt like there was still hope for the future. I recognize that the bad stuff still existed - though as a kid I had less exposure to it. (2)
