I'm a biophysics PhD, and it would be hard for me to be in the same room as him without my head exploding. There's little you could ask him that would get a substantive response, but I do wonder why he thinks he has access to an entire body of truth that's been somehow denied to ACTUAL SCIENTISTS...

Apparently Trump thinks Tel Aviv and the continental US are the same size. And that ICBMs and jury-rigged rockets are the same thing. And that 2025 = 1986.

I grew up in a small town where we were given fluoride pills regularly because we used well water! #ISurvivedFluoride and I have a PhD in biophysics...

"Pam Bondi continued, 'they were doing drugs to each other and cussing. Some bad guys had guns and they were shooting each other. And they were spitting on the flag and making babies and I saw one of the babies and the baby looked at me!'. CNN was unable to independently verify these statements."

blowing themselves up with nukes/bioweapons/etc. The idea is that such an enlightened species wouldn't then be likely to go randomly blowing up alien civilizations.
April 19, 2025 at 5:42 PM
a plausible alternative is that to advance to the level of technology you're talking about, a civilization would perforce have to have solved their own societal problems. The only way for a species to survive long enough to develop such a technology would be to advance socially far enough to avoid

Ha. I'll take the optimistic tack here and give you a sunnier scenario. While, sure, it's possible that there's a predatory and likely extremely efficient intelligence out there that wants to kill everyone (see the Fermi Paradox),
