Movie lover (sometimes). Lover of (almost) all dogs. Casual psychedelic dabbler. Ex-nanny (Even though I never liked kids). Atheist raised by loving Christians that I admire.

Blue heart stuck in a red state.
I made an unevenly cut sourdough grilled cheese the size of my size 12 shoe.

I made sourdough so I could make the fattest grilled cheese sandwich I’ve had in my life. I needed something to dip in my tomato basil soup.

I couldn’t find my bread knife. That explains the wildly uneven slices.

This was my birthday gift to myself about 6 years ago. It hurt. Covers most of a shoulder blade.

It turns out my “pretty good” coconut curry has been missing coriander this whole time.

Damn. That was good.

At least I have Deathstalker.

One of these ratings surprised me a lot. One surprised me a little. 2 were exactly where I thought they’d end up.

Pros and Cons of making lasagna and garlic bread from scratch.

Cons : It takes like half a feckin day.

Pros: You end up with lasagna and garlic bread……. and probably enough lasagna for 2 extra days.

May I offer you a picture of cookies in this trying time ?

It’s not a brownie , but I’m pretty happy with my Triple Chocolate Brown Butter Espresso cookies.

Crispy on the edges. Chewie and gooey in the middle.

Damn near 2 sticks of Irish butter go into making 13 of these.

Damnit. I made my own garlic bread from scratch. It was pretty good.

But now I know how to make garlic bread whenever I want it. This is dangerous.

That’s the brand I grew up with. I’m pretty sure it’s still at some stores, but I haven’t looked for it in decades.

Alright. We’ll call it a draw.

Lucyfur had never been afraid of her harness. She just doesn’t understand how to step into it.

I’ve almost got my Triple Chocolate Brown Butter Espresso cookie where I want it.

I need to practice scoring , but my 3rd try at sourdough is delicious and has amazing texture. I ate about 1/3 of the loaf with butter and cream cheese.

Because a burn is a burn is a burn. They all suck. Whether it’s from carpet friction or because you instinctively wanted to stupidly stop your super hot Dutch oven lid from sliding out of the super hot oven…… even though iron can easily survive a 2 foot drop.

My second sourdough attempt still didn’t rise enough , but it rose more than the last time. I still haven’t found the perfect spot in the house for proofing.

Either way, delicious.

You can make a movie about the futility of revenge or how sweet it is. They both work.

I’d miss my dad. He’s nice and not an evangelical, but net gain for Earth.

It’s not the same, but this is the closest we can offer in return.

Charlie Kirk and Dinesh D’Souza fell in line like good little servants. We’ll see about Bongino.

I wonder how long MTG can hold out.

I’m happy with my Orange Chicken and Cherry Apple Raspberry Cobbler.

I added thin sliced apple a little late so they would still have a bit of bite to them at the end.

I wonder what the Q nuts will have to say about this. I’m sure some excuse will magically pop into their minds.
