I love being a sahm, and I’m thankful everyday to be able to be with my little one all day. I realize that my situation is not financially realistic or desirable for all mothers and families. Universal Pre-k would be amazing for so many Kentucky parents, esp mothers. Go Gov. Beshear!

The republicans love their word play. It’s not cuts to Medicaid, it’s “trimming,” or “a slow down.” I believe they actively set time to brainstorm these euphemisms, and they congratulate themselves and each other when they come up with a particularly buzzy buzz word or phrase. #medicaidcuts
