NOAA scientists are doing more than sticking a wet thumb up into the wind. Some weather balloon launched are being cancelled, and it is hampering accurate weather predictions and models already.

No good at all, the sheer disregard and misunderstanding for the science of weather and timely, accurate predictions is going to cost more lives and livelihoods, as we get more extreme hurricanes, like we saw last year in NC.
