I grew up with her album, Quiet Fire, framed in our den. My mother, Lucy Guerrero, died in ‘73 adored her music and cried to her songs. I even mentioned it in my book, Warrior. Amazing how an artist as transcendent as Roberta Flack can profoundly influence a little girl. The music of my childhood. 💔
