Jeezy creezy, Pod Bro! Either this is saying that Barak Obama had severe IBS or this is some dude making excuses for a dude with a literal Nazi tattoo. An SS tattoo no less. How hard is it to say "I don't think the guy's a Nazi and he should get rid of that awful tattoo immediately and publicly"?

A Bluesky post from Lauren Hodges, a purported History excusing Platner's literal Nazi totenkopf tattoo by saying What you are calling the Totenkopf symbol was first a pirate flag used by Richard Worley, predating the Nazis by 200 years fgand pirate symbolism is replete in Western culture. I’m a history major and didn’t see anything Nazi oriented nor did it turn up in an internet search until I specifically An SS officer saying "Pirates are fun!" in the Mitchel and Webb sketch where one SS officer asks if they're the baddies because of the totenkopf iconography everywhere.

Since Tron is back in the zeitgeist, let me reiterate my theory about Quorra at the end of Tron Legacy having all the powers of Lisa from Weird Science. In Weird Science, they hack into a mainframe to get more brain power for their simulation, it's a military system which looks like this.

When Scout is done at the dog park -- which is after about twenty minutes these days -- she plays herself between me and the door and makes significant eye contact until I get the hint.
