Looking for common sense, like minded and caring people to help me survive the insanity in this world.
I'm an animal lover, charity minded, football loving reader who likes nothing better than a great book or good movie, docuseries, whatever.
For those watching The American Revolution…Congress needs to read Thomas Payne’s Common Sense, written in 1776. The rest of us should as well!

So is the idiotic Schumer going to wring his hands and send a strongly worded letter to the IRS now?

As much as I detest everything about the Rethuglicans, they're smart. Case in point: organizing grade school to parade around with Magat signs at a state wrestling meet in Wisconsin. Yes, deplorable. But they'll likely win the special elections there. The Dems do NOTHING. So sick of my damn party.

The headline says it all...

A former Schumer staffer, Leah Juliett, is sounding the alarm that Schumer's leadership has "left many young voters increasingly disaffected by politics and disconnected from a party that once felt aligned with our values."

I Used to Work for Chuck Schumer. He's Pushing Young People Away From the Democratic Party.
I blame my former boss for the party's failures.

When social media exposes traditional media’s deceit, it’s time for independent journalists to investigate why the press is backing a president who undermines free press—and is it coordinated?

THIS IS HUGE.
I’m glad to see that Leonard Peltier has been granted clemency — a step I have been calling for due to serious concerns around the fairness of his trial and his own health conditions.

Mr. Peltier deserves to serve the rest of his sentence from home. www.huffpost.com/entry/joe-bi...
Joe Biden Frees Leonard Peltier
The ailing Native American rights activist has been in prison for nearly 50 years after the U.S. government lied to put him there.

We are evacuating because of a new fire -- so many new fires keep breaking out and more than 180,000 people have been evacuated!

I need to underscore that Governor Newsom and President Biden are right here with us giving us everything we need to fight these brutal fires.
