Its a compensatory fantasy that these guys are really smart and have a really good plan. But no. Empire just runs like this. They might end up losing control because other folks resent it or struggle against it, but the whole thing is just naked class struggle my dudes.

What the US did to Maduro is what states and the feds have been doing to marginalized defendants for as long as the carceral state has existed.
So I encourage you to consider that if the govt can kidnap a foreign leader and bring him to a trial in a courtroom as though that's completely normal,
