90 years ago today. Great grandfather Albert was instrumental in the early days of Chelsea Football Club and also father to Olympian, world record holding sprinter and radical champion for women’s sport Vera Palmer/Searle
Remembering former CFC assistant secretary Albert Palmer who passed away OTD in 1935.
Albert is buried in Mortlake Cemetery.
