Congratulations to Norrie fans, commiserations to Jarry fans. Cam won 194-180, or 52% to 48%. Tight match.

Not the warmest words ever exchanged between two competitors after the match, which is a pity. It’s possible Nic was enquiring what hair products Cam uses, but I don’t think so.

Labour lost votes to the Greens, Lib Dems and abstentions, NOT to Reform.
For Gods sake Labour, give us progressives a reason to get out and vote for you, stop courting the right-wing.

I was in Card Factory earlier and they had Mother's Day cards in braille or with messages spelt out in BSL. Absolutely amazing. Inclusivity matters 🥰

I have been a member of this group for most of my PhD, and the breadth of work they do is astonishing.
Excited to now have Open Thanatology from The Open University here on Bluesky. We look forward to connecting with lots of folks on here who are interested in research and education on death, dying, grief, bereavement and loss across the lifecourse.

Today I joined 3 Counties radio where they asked - is immigration the number one issue that politicians should be talking about?

I said no.

We need to talk about the catastrophic impacts of a stagnant, ageing population WITHOUT immigration

Happy Sunday lovely phone family. Hope you're all well.
We can't stand by and watch the continued persecution & demonisation of the most vulnerable in our society. Please take whatever action you can, including writing to your MP and signing petitions ✊🏼
Have a peaceful day 🥰

It is a fairly scary thought that as we see major impacts of climate change, such as massive wildfires, storms, flooding etc, sweeping America and the rest of the world, in a couple of weeks the US will inaugurate a President who wants to roll back the meagre progress made on combatting it. #r4today
