Today is Transgender Day of Visibility. Trans folk are having to resist relentless attacks by politicians, media, academics, etc who trash them as an “ideology” and seek to censor their lives. We must work harder to end erasure of trans people and make trans visibility, freedom and safety a reality.

I’ve been sufficiently annoyed into finally starting my Substack. The good news is that it’s free, because taking money would involve filling in a form at work & I’m unlikely to get around to doing that

Politicians must stop weaponising their anxieties to block medical transition. Trans people shouldn’t be denied care because those in positions of power object to their existence.

#SMAANZ2024 dinner 🥂
I spend the evening mostly running around the room and hugging people I don’t get to see that often and asking for selfies and trying not to cry when saying goodbye. It’s a good time ✨
