And Mulroney launched NAFTA, starting the rapid rise of the transnational corporate state and the 1% / 99% poor vs rich divide that we've been screwed by ever since. Then Harper and Pierre Poilievre used the trickle down economics they stole from Reagan to increase Canada's national debt by $160B.

Dear @paulbrandt1.bsky.social
CTV is reporting that you are cheering on those who would break up our country.
You should come clean with Canadians.
If you are cheering the quislings, stop cashing in on our beautiful flag.

Premiers who don't seem to understand that while they grovel and grub so hard to try to serve Big Oily interests - that it seriously rubs most Canadians the wrong way.
Am I the only one who finds it slightly galling that premiers are pitching major projects to an open-eared prime minister right now -- including pipelines -- as a province burns around them and people are forced to evacuate?????

As a result of wildfires which are exacerbated by climate change???

Pierre Poilievre should respect the clear decision of Canadian voters who chose not to re-elect him and vacate Stornoway. Taxpayers should not be paying for a politician who no longer holds office, as doing so contradicts principles of fiscal responsibility and the appropriate use of public funds.

Her position, @drewanderson.bsky.social writes, has been driven since the outset by the Free Alberta Strategy. It's a plan to back oil and gas — even if it means breaking up Canada.
