Cuban Solidarity: The TYRLC helped order a surge protector for the CTC (Union of Cuban Workers). Yesterday, Julio Fonseca, the Co-Chair Canadian Network on Cuba, delivered it to Leima Martínez, Director of North America of the Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) in Havana.

My cloud somehow deleted several documents w/ 4 chapters of an in-progress project. I was hysterical for 36 hours before I remembered I write chapters in longhand & then type & revise!

I didn’t find it all but I did locate more half of the original material along w/ notes.

I can't explain it, but the smell of tomato plants, especially on my hands after I've been tending the plants, really brings home to me in a visceral way that these plants are from a mostly-incredible-toxic family of plants. I LOVE tomatoes, but those plants smell dangerous. 🌱
