Only the body of water in red below is technically named Gulf of America since the other countries of Mexico and Cuba do not agree. The US only owns 200 miles (13 miles from shore) of the 600,000 nautical sq miles,… so the below map in red (not to scale) is giving more than the US deserves.

One of the best experiences of my entire formal education was doing an NSF funded REU and it's safe to say that I wouldn't be working in the sciences without it.

One of the best experiences of my entire formal education was doing an NSF funded REU and it's safe to say that I wouldn't be working in the sciences without it.

Sen. Mark Warner: As we see now some of the Republican budget proposals coming out, they clearly will cut Medicaid. Unfortunately for Mr. Kennedy, we had an individual during testimony who didn't even understand the difference between Medicaid and Medicare...I will be voting no on Bobby Kennedy Jr.
