My take is that if you have a public facing contact info as a therapist, all emails from prospective clients should be answered. But that DOESN'T mean serving as a referral service - a form email saying you're not currently available and providing links to resources would be totally acceptable to me

I wish this was true for me. Masking (well, really, the way people respond to it) causes me all sorts of social anxiety and honestly my self esteem has taken a big hit. Anyway, I'm still masking despite my anxiety, not because of it.

This is a good point! I usually take my shoes off by the door, but my cats love rubbing their faces on them. I'll make sure I put them in the cabinet instead

I don't really understand how these euphemisms work. If they're trying to prevent "dead" from being shared, don't they eventually just add "unalived" to the shadowban list too? It's not like it's a secret, it's been used widely for years
