Humidity is really high for October... dew point of almost 70 degrees is more typical of July/August and all that moisture in the air means the temperature takes longer to drop.

The contract has been extended to next Friday so I hope it gets done next week. I feel confident that it's going to go through because their only other realistic alternative is foreclosure.

I had Peddle pick up my Prius and everything was fine except me being dumb and forgetting to take my plates off and having to drive an hour to Baltimore to retrieve them and also forgetting my toll pass on window and having $200 in tolls in New York City charged to my account before I cancelled it

Maybe this is an urban East Coast vs. midwestern mutt thing but I feel like the majority of white people in the U.S. are not descended from a single nationality even if they identify more strongly with whatever line gave them their last name. I'm literally all of the above except Polish.

I honestly don't think I could walk down them facing out, I'd have to face into the treads like backing down a ladder.

The Death Stairs are going to be one of the things that is going to be redone...I really do want the larger bedroom on the 2nd floor to be the primary bedroom because of the nice view and balcony, but the dogs are certainly not going to be able to navigate that! Also I don't want to die!
