This case was not just speeding but doing it in an unregistered unsafe vehicle being driven in a very dangerous way by a provisional driver- which is someone inexperienced without a full drivers license who should be driving more cautiously. So very egregious behaviour.

20 years ago I was a heavily pregnant 33 yo walking around Hornsby. So this hits hard. But this could have been anyone.
DRIVERS HAVE A HUGE RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF MORE VULNERABLE ROAD USERS.I wish they took that seriously but we MUST design built spaces to stop drivers killing ppl.
