The NTSB will be conducting a thorough investigation into last night’s collision of an American Airlines plane with an Army helicopter. Yes, there’s hope that funding will be restored. Yes, legal challenges and injunctions are in progress. But the immediate stress, fear, and uncertainty caused by this situation—impacting millions of people, directly and indirectly—is simply not okay.
