Whatever production time and cost was "saved" by using AI for one of the most human-dependent disciplines in game making was actively obliterated by the act itself, overshadowing the hard work of every single other developer on the project and making this situation impossible to right. WHO KNEW.
For Arc Raiders to ride the wave of human sociability all the way to the bank, while also being so contemptuous of the thing that makes us social animals in its own workflow demonstrates a lack of artistic integrity that I find impossible to ignore.

Going back to some #jentryvstheunderworld art! Today I am dedicating some time to our injured heroes from Ep10. These were designed over the characters existing turns - Jentry’s Cheerleadibg Uniform and her broken arm, held up with Michael’s jersey. And Michael without his jersey and twisted ankle.

I went into LBX expecting a lot of doom and gloom, and was instead greeted with a ton of enthusiasm and hope for the future. I met so many incredible people and heard so many kind things. It's amazing how Hollywood has so much access to resources that would simply tell them a good performance is more important than getting a big name attached. Why is a this a thing we must constantly relitigate (rhetorical, don't answer)

Jim Lee openly disparaging AI in no way guarantees anything, no one knows what the future of AI is and no one knows who will be in charge at DC Comics down the line. But I think it's important that a popular artist publicly shot AI down. Fans and artists ignorant of or using AI need to hear this.
