Analyzing your single-cell data by mapping to a reference atlas? Then how do you know the mapping actually worked, and you’re not analyzing mapping-induced artifacts? We developed mapQC, a mapping evaluation tool www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1... from the ‪@fabiantheis lab. Let’s dive in🧵

Amazing work by the GBM-SPACE team atlassing one of the deadliest cancers #glioblastoma at multimodality, & coupled the elegant scDORI framework.
These studies reveal a high-resolution spatiotemporal cell trajectory from tumour heterogeneity & plasticity at both cellular and molecular levels
How does tumour heterogeneity arise? How can we predict cancer cell plasticity? In 2 new studies, we trace #glioblastoma heterogeneity to a spatial cancer cell trajectory w. multimodal cell atlassing bit.ly/4mkrWgs & predict plasticity w. snRNA/ATAC+deep learning bit.ly/3FbI6Ic 🧵

Thrilled to share our new @naturecomms.bsky.social study with @sam-n-barnett.bsky.social on early vs late #COVID19 lung damage 🫁.
Using single-cell & histopathology-informed #SpatialTranscriptomics, we uncovered key biomarkers & immune patterns. Thanks to collaborators, UKCIC & @humancellatlas.org
How lung damage worsens during COVID-19 has been mapped at a cellular level. 🦠

By understanding how our lungs respond to the virus over time, this new knowledge may help identify future therapies for COVID-19.

Absolutely Amazing!!
Thrilled to share LUNA🌕 – our new generative AI model that reassembles tissue structures from dissociated cells! LUNA learns spatial priors over existing spatially resolved datasets with the aim to predict cell locations de novo.
