Maybe the goriness of CK’s public death will create change. I saw grown men devolve into blubbering messes at witnessing the impact of 1 round on a grown body. Maybe the thought of multiple rounds on a tiny body & the emotional impact of a witnessing classmate will finally have some effect.

ADM Fagan by all accounts was a very good head of the USCG, she just wouldn't take a loyalty oath to MAGA and they knew it. This firing is a shot across the bow to all generals and admirals that unless they pledge undying loyalty to Trump, they will be fired.

I’m glad the hearings are televised. Not because I want to see that cluster fuck again, but because one day these spineless assholes will try to hide their complicity. Their grandchildren and great grandchildren will see their actions on full display. History will judge them for their treason.

With this upcoming administration, the process by which a security clearance is granted and the possession of such a clearance will be meaningless. Every metric that previously disqualified someone exists (abundantly) in this upcoming administration.
