My #FirstTimeWatch of "Darklands" (1996) was a pleasant surprise. I hadn't heard of it before. I liked the setting, the pagan cult theme, and Craig Fairbrass was great as the protagonist. A fun watch.

Continuing my pre-autumn program of old dark house comfort viewing with FOG ISLAND (1945). Savoring the saturnine suavity of George Zucco and his eyes of infinite menace. Here he hosts a little game of retribution among enemies. Giallo-esque B full of loathsome people who meet justly nasty ends.

Remembering with great fondness writer/producer/director Dan Curtis, who was 78 when he died OTD in 2007. We'll be eternally grateful for how he scared the yell outta us...

I used a random word generator and ran the results through Tubis search engine.

The word "cycle" gave me a 1984 biker flick called HELL RIDERS.

The top-billed actor?

Never change, Tubi.
