Happy 99th birthday to Sir David Attenborough! I got the chance to meet him very briefly nearly 8 years ago on 2nd May 2017!

I had a version of this story when I was a child and I thought I may have imagined it because I'd never seen or heard anyone mention it since! Going to find myself a copy of this now!

In Norwegian folklore, a pancake flees the
pan, rolling past hen, duck, and goose, only to be outwitted by a sly pig. A tale of cunning and escape, proving even breakfast can be a hero! #PancakeTales

Nature isn’t a blocker; it’s the foundation of growth.

Yes I have just had a massive rant about this, it is so worrying!
Keir Starmer, your government promised bold action on climate and nature - but this isn’t it. ❌

It’s a move that risks tearing up our chances for a future where nature, people, and the economy thrive.

I'm frightened over what is going to happen to biodiversity in the UK if Starmer gets his way. The only good thing we have right now in the UK is ok legislation to protect our wildlife and protected sites. I am furious at the scapegoating of ecologists for delays in development! #UK #ecology #Labour

Lovely presents including @foliosociety.bsky.social Tales from Earthsea! And short stories from G.R.R Martin & Stephen King because I wanted to try something from both. Plus a collection of Dicken's stories because I wanted to read the Signalman. I wanted to try Agatha Christie so was gifted these.

I didn’t do much to celebrate my last 2 birthdays so this year I treated myself to my 1st tattoo! It was completed on 22nd Nov (coincidentally on 5yr anniversary of becoming a Dr) as I wanted to be healed by today. However the tattoo is sadly not fully healed today.
