My Cross standing on a cliff saluting with the US flag and "United States" on the White Whale habitat unit in the background. Rocks and cliffs can also be seen jutting out in the background, some over the water, and some are big, green, pointy crystals coming out from under the habitat unit. Way in the background is a tall tower and a few other towers and some orange cranes. My Cross uses the female option because I like the Fiora voice option (as you could've already known because I sometimes quote a few battle lines from it) and she has dark, almost black hair and it's long and mostly straight down I guess. Eyes are the silver-ish setting, and the skin is white (well, what gets called white in real life), and the lips are pink-ish (the default). The outfit is a shirt with orange and slightly lighter orange sleeves, with orange and slightly lighter orange vertical stripes in the middle that go up to the top of the chest and two thinner orange things going to the sleeves (?). Physical left of the shirt is white/off-white as is just under the neck down to the top of the stripes in a semi-triangular shape. Physical right of the shirt is mostly beige. Pants are orange and slightly lighter orange on the inside of the thighs. There's a green visor thing on the head. On her back are Dual Guns I think, or maybe Dual Swords, and they're mostly metallic blue. There's also a belt, it's a silvery color near the hips, just below the waist.

Arch toast
Piece of french toast apart from the rest of the piece and shaped like the Arch Linux logo (a triangle that goes up toward the middle in the bottom). It's decently browned and no egg appears because it has no eggs (used silken tofu instead because I can't eat eggs and found a vegan french toast recipe the other day on Martha Stewart's website, it's really good but cow's milk was used because I can't drink almond milk)

I figured out how to make all the other apps go into the background and fade out when opening the context menu for an app. I had to set the scale for the thing that contains the text and the icon instead of the button itself as otherwise...

RetiledStart All Apps list showing how only the app you long-press on (to open the "pin to start" context menu), in this case KSysGuard, is fully opaque and at 100% scale. All the rest are at 50% opacity and 90% scale. This is basically what Windows Phone does, but I might need to adjust it. Also you might have noticed I have kitty (nya-nya) installed, it's apparently supposed to be a touch-friendly terminal according to the postmarketOS wiki but it doesn't seem to run in Plasma Mobile. I refuse to use Hyprland even if it works properly there (kitty was mentioned on the postmarketOS wiki page on it) due to the hate allowed in the community and perpetrated by the main developer.

Decided to add textboxes to the rest of the options in the settings app so that they can at least be graphically configured for now, even if it's not optimal. There's more in the start+theme page, but I didn't take screenshots of it.

I've modified the Universal QtQuick style's toggles to be more like Metro and they look almost perfect (need to tweak it a bit, mostly for spacing/text position/capitalization/size), even smoothly filling the space when the handle slides over. Here's the current RetiledSettings start+theme page.

start+theme page of the RetiledSettings app. Right now it just shows your configuration as specified in the config file. It's Metro-styled, so it has small, all-caps text as the app's title; a large, all-lowercase page title, and the names of all the settings are presented lowercase in a dimmed color. Displayed settings are accent color (set to #0050EF, for Cobalt, a dark-ish blue color) with the text displaying value itself previewing the value using QtQuick's "font" markup or whatever it is along with a small-ish square giving a more visible preview, theme family (Retiled-Metro), theme name (MetroDark), display background wallpaper (Metro-style toggle showing it's "false" and the font color is white), use tile background wallpaper (false), wallpaper path (wallpaper.jpg, which is a picture of my cat, Mitty, a calico), wallpaper overlay color (black), wallpaper overlay layer opacity (20%), and tile solid background color opacity (100%). I was gonna say this looks like AI, and yeah, it is. I hate this. Looks way too smooth to be real at first glance, plus the strange shapes. Actually this works for Halloween because it's horrifying that "AI" is being used for the Bing Image of the Day.
AI-generated jack-o'lanterns on a porch. One has Guy Fieri hair and two look like Voldemort. Overall the image looks way too smooth. This is the Bing Image of the Day and it was ""made"" by the Bing Image Creator, which Microsoft is attributing the copyright to (AI generators like this can't claim copyright; if we get to the point of AI having a humanoid body, mind and personality, then that would be different).

For Windows Phone's birthday, I added support for arbitrary numbers of columns via a config file and here's an example three-column layout I set up. Ran out of apps for the bottom-right so I just put three small RetiledSearch tiles there.

Here's an example of a layout using the SimpleTilesGrid implementation paired with the postmarketOS logo-in-the-grass wallpaper often seen in #postmarketOS screenshots displayed as a tile wallpaper. You can do wide tiles too, I just didn't have one in this image.
