Someone emailed me asking if I knew why Donkey Kong throws barrels and I was like "Well obviously it's because..." and then I wasn't actually sure why, aside from the fact that they roll and would be something you might see on a construction site. Did barrel throwing happen before Donkey Kong?

Can't believe I got through an entire history of Darkstalkers without getting into how Victor has a move where he grabs you with his big, meaty butt.
