The squirrel monkeys of Ishigaki were also theives. But a crow was more discerning in stealing from them.

Evangelicals when the GOP is in power: "Render unto Caesar" means it is anti-God to protest, even if the rulers are unrepentant sinners.
Evangelicals when Dems are in power: We must rise up against the demonic forces ruining our Christian nation!

We really filled the Idaho Center for Bernie and AOC tonight. Good job, everyone!

Over 30,000 people called to warn Brad Little that the vouchers will hurt our state and the children. About 5,000 said they wanted it. Because Trump likes dumbing down education, Little signed it.

New fave: this one for Dandara that fully admits that the character being a WOC makes sense in historical context and STILL thinks it's too woke. Guess the ones that decry fantasy or medieval diversity for not making sense may not have been honest about their problem with them.

Bots keep such a low profile, listing such run-of-the-mill jobs as ranking member of the House Oversight Committee. I'm almost impressed that the Congressional District lines up, despite also including a different state in the bio and not bothering to pretend to be the right person.

Not for me ;-)

This is one of my favorites. Homer being the one who knows the proper definitions of jealousy and envy and Lisa verifying is a nice turn of events for a show that spends so much time portraying him as an idiot, and the self-awareness is a cherry on top.

I am begging journalists to stop pretending it's the same to push for equal rights as it is to push for mass immigrations. Every time you pretend these things are bad, you legitimize the people who claim the left is worse than the right and make the right seem more reasonable than it is.

For me, -ai brought up the cast, rather than the characters. But it got Tracy Morgan right. The AI is still saying that is Donald Glover and that Tina Fey is Amy Poehler

They might be opening and closing ordering as batches come available. I'm still getting this screen saying ordering will reopen in late September. Glad you were able to get an order in! Anyone looking should check periodically, I think.

Well, I was kinda late to the party compared to most of these I see, but I managed to get in within the first 10%.

You'd think a Konami game would be known, but I don't think I have ever mentioned this game without having to explain what it was.

Reprogrammer: Now, when I show you this photo, you say, "There's a woman in the photo."
Vance: Uh-huh, got it.
*Reprogrammer shows photo*
Vance: What the hell is this photo of a female?

If you ask the Meta AI to opt out of it, it gives you fake instructions. If you request again, it tells you it has opted you out, which appears to be a lie. Always remember that these systems are designed to give you the information they think you want, not accurate information. Do not rely on them.

The crypto bros are so enamored with AI that they don't even bother to fix the glaring errors on the images they generate for "news" articles hyping up crypto.
Just let me check my sheet of paper that is a clipboard for the price of Bitcco)i||n. Ah, yes, 66,00,00. With upside down 9s for 6s. Yes.

Technically correct. Musk has not founded a car company, so he could not be the first car company founder to flame out, regardless of historical precedent.

Well, that settles it. I'm always gonna speed from now on (this is also retroactively my reason for previous speeding).

A dear friend found out that I am getting into fountain pens and she gave me one that a friend made her. Cherry wood, ink cartridge, and a nib that is stamped Iridium Point Germany (new enough to be neither iridium nor German, but it may be a good point once I get used to it). It's lovely.

Amazon Music gets it. The auto-generated playlist it gave me today had The Chick's. I haven't listened to them on this service before, so I can only assume they're celebrating yesterday's news.

My meal just cost me $78 at Newark Airport. This is why Americans think the economy is terrible.
