“Captain Canuck”. I have carried these comics from childhood in Winnipeg in the late 1970s to the UK, 2025. ‘First’ & ‘special’ editions. As I cannot take them to the afterlife, who or what would be a good recipient? A random buyer? A museum?

İlginc! For the Ottomans, was the Millet-e ‘Esrailiye all Jews, wherever they were, under the Haham Başı in قسططينه ? Or a millet that was a sub-group of another? Don’t know how precise the millet system was, eg Protestant Armenians v Orthodox ones; same millet? Or was there a Protestant one?
