Inequality in end of life care persists, with those living in least deprived communities much more likely to die in a care home or hospice than those in most deprived. Also reflects in higher pressure placed on hospitals in more deprived areas.

Mood lifted when cleaner in our building asked for my help & after a chat he said I'd made his day. Why?
Because so many people don't even acknowledge him - mood down.
It doesn't take much to say Hello or smile - give it a try...

Today is #CarersRightsDay – our #WomanoftheNorth report released this year shows that northern women contribute £10bn of unpaid care to the UK economy each year. This is £2bn a year more than if they provided the national average of unpaid care.
