Two UoM mathematicians, Dr @cesaregardito.eu and Dr Igor Chernyavsky, have joined nearly 1,000 expert contributors worldwide to create a multidisciplinary academic test called “Humanity’s Last Exam” (HLE), setting AI systems a fresh challenge.

A inquiry led by our Chancellor, Nazir Afzal OBE, finds systemic barriers facing working-class creatives.
