I know we keep focusing on Colbert and Kimmel as we should, but we also need to remember there are hundreds of people who work for these shows who also just lost their jobs because of this bullshit, and most of them are probably not millionaires.

At last nights city council meeting we approved a letter for our Senators and California Congressional delegation to do the following:
1. Ensure protection of Due Process Rights for all.
2. Provide accurate and timely information on those being detained.
3. Oppose the use of Guantanamo Bay.

I was shown a letter from one grantee who was specifically flagged for non-compliance because their grant application includes the term "racial equity." They must now literally certify they are not doing any racial equity-related work. Crazy, totalitarian, racist conduct by the feds right now.
