Farmers in Jamaica bear the brunt of climate change, colonialism and neo-colonialism.

Developed nations should pay for climate change disasters & pay to build climate adaptation & climate resilience strategies in small island developing states. #Jamaica #climatejustice

I just went to Jamaica where 5 months after hurricane #Beryl many farmers still don’t have a roof. Weeks of heavy rains in Oct. and a second storm in Nov. destroyed crops & livestock again. Results of #climatechange, warn experts. My story.

According to police, Pointe-Claire’s Fairview Mall is a known hotspot for car thefts. Big malls in Montreal are often placed in close proximity to highways. “It’s attractive for thieves to go there to steal cars and have a rapid exit to leave,” said Officer Brabant. #montreal

Scientists, academics, researchers: We’re excited to share that @altmetric.com is now tracking mentions of your research on Bluesky! 🧪
There are already many articles for which there is more attention on Bluesky than on other comparable micro-blogging sites, meaning the academic community and the general public have clearly adopted Bluesky as one of its core places to disseminate and discuss new research.

A Place of Joy.

Seeing significantly more people wearing masks this holiday season. Smart. Viral infections surge during this time of year due to travel and more time spent indoors. Wearing a masks means avoiding illness and therefore more valuable time spent with loved ones.
