It’s a lovely place. I love churches too, it fills me full of hope for humanity when people take so much time, care, and energy to build testaments to their faith, and then serve to maintain them. It helps me to believe that most people are good, at least I can hope…

Indeed. So much of the rhetoric is about ur protecting Christianity from the incursion of Islam. Yet how many attend Church? For most their only interest in religion is when it’s an excuse to eat chocolate 🤦🏻‍♀️

Unfortunately I’ve spent more time than I’d like looking at the BNP, their propaganda, interviews with their members, and the direct comparison of their egregious rhetoric with the bile Reform spout unfortunately regularly.

That’s only partly true. Remember the BNP… they published their Britain First propaganda and gained traction that way. There’s always a way, it’s just digitally is faster, powerfully divisive, and allows for accessible rage baiting.

They’re tapping into structural social inequalities and misdirecting the blame onto the most vulnerable. Same as it ever was. It’s relatively easy to do. Keep the public entertained, and preferably lacking educational opportunities, then tell them their lack of success isn’t their responsibility.

Poverty will explain much of this, until we ensure children are going to school, are fed, and are patented with love, the gaps in attainment will only widen sadly.

Just waiting for the why no ‘men only’ brigade to complain…

Truth is, the only sensible solution here is a ‘no violent men’ transport system: Then everyone is safe, however they identify.
