I feel like the concept of infinite universes or timelines is born out of the need to impress people with scale, and people not having a grasp on how big a single universe or even a single galaxy is.
This honestly makes me extremely sad, the word infinite has become cosmetic in science fiction.

It was a nice reminder, that joy is the reason I want to be a creator. That's my dream, one might say it's my purpose, because I know what it feels like when someone makes me laugh, and I want to share that.

Something I'm starting to think about is how often discussing balance in games is super redundant. Most people make up their mind and are discussing just to justify their opinion, which is inherently fine but contradictory to the format of a discussion.
