The admin-teacher issue is so real, and not just around AI. This is also where I think parents can assert their rights <sideeye>. They can email admin/board members or speak at meeting against AI use, especially this kind of compelled integration. Maybe malicious compliance is called for?

The ethics of AI use are terrible as a baseline, right? Like, we don't play lawn darts anymore for a reason.
Student choice and teacher expertise have often been in tension, no? But compelling AI use based on teacher expertise when LLMs do not yet have a compelling argument for uptake? Not sold.
