I can't express enough to other trans people how important it is that you actively seek out our history, that you look at the experiences of other trans women, especially the ones that are worse off than you.

One of the big challenges of the trans community is that we are so randomly distributed through society.
Trans kids aren't born into trans families, so there's a lot of trans ppl who navigate without a ton of community or understanding of our history those are things you have to actively seek out
