So, in my somewhat considered opinion, one of the main barriers to the adoption of ESF is the sheer amount of material that course leaders are expected to pack into the given hours in a course. Predictably, I would say that ESF actually simplifies these requirements, but it's a tough sell...

I'm having real trouble distinguishing Labour from the Tories right now. I appreciate that the government is trying to get the economy moving, but the continual growth model is non-viable. Obviously, a 3rd runway will do extensive environmental damage as well...

I'm currently attending an online seminar put on by EDIE, with talks by @theeauc.bsky.social representatives. Some really interesting stuff about the role of HEI's in addressing sustainability, and how the topic, as a whole, links with wider strategic objectives of Universities.
