Point on that, Mary Rose had a full brick built oven/blacksmith forge on board.
"Some say" for heating cannon balls so they would catch other wooden ships on fire.
But Brick built? How heavy was that?

That may depend on where we are looking at.
If we are looking at the Port side, with the Steer-Board [Starboard] on the other side?
Back when the Steer-boards were side mounted, not rear mounted, as in the below.

They still use plotting tables on board Flat-top's [aircraft carriers] with wooden markers for aircraft with pins on them to hold coloured nuts/washers to denote fuel load and armaments?

They are much quicker to use than the digital equivalent, and more reliable.
Its called the Ouija board.

The Montgomery, thats the one slightly poking out the water on the Thames Estuary isnt it?..[Sheerness shore]
So they are going to try to salvage it?
Thats good.

It is an Avro 707, test bed for the Vulcan Delta wing design, and yes, there were some produced in various colours.

Todays "What is it".
An easier one today, work out what it looks like, then work out why it isnt?
Usual rules apply, no reverse image search.

I have a sharpener a bit like this one, two crossed sharpening stones that are sprung to keep them at the right angle to the blade, you alter the angle of the blade as you draw a curved blade through to get the right angle.
