One of the most underrated parts of Star Trek TOS that nobody talks about is the episode where they keep talking about how this computer genius is visiting who everyone is glazing and he shows up and he's a black guy. Nobody mentions it because why would they? It's the future. But for the 60s? Wild.

Not awful, but a mess. Lots to love. Cast did a great job and the characters were all great, but the script was an obvious hatchet job. I want Shalla-Bal to ride me like a surfboard. Kevin Feige must suffer.

I usually try to resist Prequels-revisionism because those movies still basically suck, but I will say, I think Padme Amidala remains the best-dressed woman in the galaxy.
Leia is far better written character and a lot more capable but no woman has ever been dressed better than Padme Amidala.
