fuck switching domain registrars from `name.com` to `cloudflare` is so nice.

effortless email forwarding? non-shitty browser sessions? actually working redirects? no shitty added prices for WHOIS / TLS cert? actual metrics for shit?

amateur hour is over. worth the hassle.

was getting ~20 writes/s on a local #dynamodb instance even after spending an hour parallelising and batching my writes, and checking my disk speeds. turns out dynamo runs an SQLite backend locally by default, which is _really_ slow. back to ~1000 wps after using the in-memory backend.

Hideaki Anno does whatever he wants to do and it's marvelous. the Second Coming of Jesus sure would look cool as a planet-devouring robot, so that's what it shall be. shot composition and artstyle switch frequently, especially the live action shot. surreal's what it is, and dare i say, postmodern.

do not let anyone convince you that the purpose of work is to maximise story points delivered per sprint.

in reality, it is to let out ambiguously erotic yearning sighs while reading RFCs that would solve your exact problem if anyone in your org bothered to read them.
