Expletives enrich the tapestry of language. They are the highlights and shadow that can reflect deeper nuances, emphasis, and effect.

Quantity over quality has long been a problem in academia. It is easier for a non-specialist to count things than to measure the importance of a body of work in a specialized field. And if you already don’t trust faculty, then you can’t trust their professional assessment either.
