Texas is expected to be where IRS’ new stance on religious leaders endorsing candidates will matter most, one expert said. More than 200 megachurches call Texas home.

“Texas will be the epicenter for testing all these ideas out,” the expert said.

These folk are clearly crazy. They are, in fact... In Seine.
If swimming in the River Seine in Paris was on your bucket list this summer, but you thought you might have missed the boat, don’t worry — there’s still time. The city will extend its experiment with public bathing in the river for two more weeks, its mayor said.
Paris Will Keep Seine River Open to Swimmers for 2 More Weeks
The city will extend its experiment with public bathing in the river until mid-September. Swimming there had been banned for a century over health risks.

Are there people who post on public social media with the expectation that it cannot be shared or stay in the public?

Genuinely one of the best memories of my life.

Kaiju Preservation Society. And to be clear, what got published was the better book. The serious book was a struggle, and also, it wasn't great. Kaiju, on the other hand, was fuckin' spot on what I wanted it to be. I'm very proud of that book.
I feel like I just read a Scalzi book with an author's note that said, "I was having a lot of trouble writing a serious book, and as soon as I gave myself permission to not write the serious book, this silly book fell right out of my pen." Maybe Constituent Service?

"I choose unicycles!"

"What?"

Kamala was right about everything.

She warned everyone about the future under our president. She warned he would prosecute political enemies, cut Medicaid & Medicare, ignore court orders, alienate our allies, give massive tax cuts to the rich.....

What she missed was was the capitulation...

Hey, @torbooks.bsky.social before the Pandemic, you offered a monthly free eBook, generally the first of a series to promote whatever is new in the Authors current work. I discovered many great authors and bought a bunch of books because of it. I really miss it. Any chance it will return?

Nor hug or caress.

Of course, that would raise the heart rate, consuming more oxygen, and we have so little, so little left.
