Oxbow lakes! You won't read about them in the mainstream media.

Spot on! You Labour politicians need to be calling out this garbage forcefully and repeatedly. And you also need to be calling out the BBC and others who keep giving them such a prominent platform.

And now look where they now find themselves in South Wales. Reform need to be countered head-on in Scotland. Don't care too much whether it's by Labour or SNP. Lets just make sure they don't make inroads here.

Pity that the makers of nougats for wafers stopped production two months ago. Bad show following loss of Morton’s rolls. What’s next on the hit list? Tunnocks Caramel Wafers, Ir’n Bru? Crisis for Scottish cuisine. Thankfully, Lucas are now making their own nougats (but for Edinburgh consumers only)

Struck by the same thoughts when recently in Ljubljana. We really missed an opportunity by running the trams along Princes St and squeezing pedestrians into what's left. Could've taken down the railings and opened up the gardens instead. Ljubljana works (for the businesses too). Edinburgh doesn't.

Nice spot. Shame these open spaces in New Town aren’t open to public.

Don't forget spring is here, when hits on energy infrastructure become markedly less devastating. And they're always a far bigger hit proportionately on Ukraine than Russia. Putin gave away virtually nothing, Ukraine gets nothing on future security. And RU -US head for cosy "future relationship."

Great work as always. Can't understand why the political consensus continues to shy away from implementing serious changes to land ownership laws. For any governing party it would be an almost unique combine be an almost unique open goal to achieve economic benefits with the popularity they crave.

Agreed - but my guess is that most of the US - Russia deal is already in place. The next bit is mainly about presentation - how to shaft a carved up Ukraine, and preparing the ground for doing the same in the Arctic. They've probably worked behind the scenes on this since before the 2016 election.
