I stand in solidarity with the Australian Jewish community and Australian values in my unambiguous condemnation of the disgusting, anti-semitic attacks on the East Melbourne synagogue and the Jewish-run Miznon restaurant last night. I extend my gratitude to the awesome Lebanese-Australians from a…

Why doesn't #AI have a social license? One part (not the whole part) is the substantial amount of time, energy, and resources being dedicated by some within the tech sector to developing AI for mass labour displacement, with no care or regard to what happens to working people as a result.

No, his two (related) war aims are to stay in power and stay out of jail.

If the two aims specified below were accidentally achieved, he would need to find a new aim and likely a new war.

As Orwell showed, perpetual war is the greatest friend of the tyrant.

Netanyahu has two war aims: destroying Iran’s nuclear program and regime change. Are either achievable?
There are few clear paths to an immediate end to the fighting between Israel and Iran. And what comes after the war could be even more concerning.

Nous Group has slowly taken over the university sector, filling VCs’ offices with ex-staff and buying ‘incredibly sensitive’ data that is sold back for benchmarking.
